[Resolved] ATE shows links to translate which are not in the original text
This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: The client was experiencing an issue where the Advanced Translation Editor (ATE) displayed links for translation that did not exist in the original English text. This discrepancy was observed while trying to retranslate Spanish links on their website. Solution: We resolved the issue by performing the following steps: 1. We made a minor modification to the original English page that contained the problematic links and saved the changes. 2. We clicked on "Purge SG cache" in the top-bar of the staging site. 3. We reopened the translation editor, and the previously seen non-expected links were no longer present. We recommend the client to test this solution on their staging site to confirm if the issue is resolved.
If this solution does not apply to your situation, or if it seems outdated, please check the related known issues and verify that you have the latest versions of themes and plugins installed. If the problem persists, we encourage you to open a new support ticket.

Background of the issue:
I am trying to retranslate Spanish links on my website. The issue can be seen on this page: hidden link. I expected to see the same links as shown on the original live page.
Symptoms:
ATE shows links to translate which are not in the original text. Instead, I got links which I have to translate that are not on the live page.
Questions:
Why are there links to translate that are not in the original text?
How can I ensure the translated links match the original live page?
here is another page hidden link the Dutch translation of this page has the same problem. Can I use the autotranslation to get this page saved or you want to see it first? thks
Please leave it as is, for the moment. I'll send that to analysis, and we need those examples to be able to find probable causes. Thank you for your patience.

The required fields can be found below the comments section. The information you enter is private, i.e. only you and I can see it and have access to it.
I may need to replicate your website locally. To do this, I need to temporarily install a plugin called "Duplicator" or "All in One WP Migration" on your website. This will allow me to create a copy of your website and content. Once the issue is resolved, I will delete the local website. Let me know if this works for you.
IMPORTANT
Please make a backup copy of the site files and database before giving us access.

To be able to investigate the issue further, I need to create a copy of your website, so I can test solutions, check for conflicts without harming your live website. We usually do that by creating local copies, but the ones I created from your website were broken. In this case, I'd like to ask you to please create a staging version of the website - an exact copy of the production website.
You can leave the same user there, so you don't need to share credentials again. Please send the staging website link here, so I can access it. I know this takes some effort, so I appreciate your cooperation on this matter.
I don't receive any notification in my email when you make a message here no idea why. Anyway we will make a staging website and come back to you. thanks.
we already has a staging website we deleted this but it appears the staging site used the same database as the live website. We had to put back a backup. So the staging website is delayed because of this. thks
Thank you so much for sharing access. On the staging website, based on the examples you previously shared, I was able to fix the issue, by doing the following:
1. Made a small change to the original page (EN) that contains the link and saved;
2. Clicked on "Purge SG cache", on the top-bar;
3. Re-opened the translation editor. The non-expected links weren't there anymore. You can check that on staging yourself.
Please test this solution and let me know if it works for you as well.
We opened the ate on the live stage and we immediately saw that the problem was not there anymore. So the problem is solved it looks like the problem solved it self. thank you.
