Background of the issue:
I’ve created a custom plugin to build a custom module for my website. In this module, I’m using ACF Pro within Beaver Builder so that when the module is dragged and dropped, the corresponding ACF fields appear for entering values. These values are then displayed on the frontend. Please see the screenshot for knowing that which fields type I have used and structure as well. So basically the field type = text is not getting translated.

Symptoms:
During auto-translation of a page, the text field values from my custom module (created with ACF Pro) are not being translated on the frontend.

Questions:
Could you suggest a solution to resolve the problem of ACF field values not being translated on the frontend?

Hello there,

There are a few things you can check before proceeding.

1. First, make sure that the fields are available inside the Translation Editor. That means that they are being properly registered by WPML and can actually be translated. If they're not, check here:

https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/translate-sites-built-with-acf/

2. Make sure to check our information for developers, so your plugin is actually prepared to work with WPML.

2.1. https://wpml.org/documentation/support/
2.2. https://wpml.org/documentation/support/achieving-wpml-compatibility-for-your-themes-and-plugins/
2.3. https://wpml.org/documentation/developing-custom-multilingual-sites/

Let me know about the details of your implementation.

I have setup this in my field group but still when I do the auto translation it's not working and not getting translated in the other language version.
Please check the screen shot.

Hello there,

Make sure to save your Field Group changes, after selecting the translation mode. I'm saying that because on your first screenshot, I see that "Same Fields Across Languages" is selected, but not saved.

After doing that, again, make sure that the fields are available inside the Translation Editor. Follow these steps:

1. Choose any page that uses the custom fields you set;
2. Make a small update to it, to ensure every field is registered. You can change a text and save;
3. Click on the pencil icon, or on the "+" sign in the language box, to open WPML's Translation Editor for that page;
4. Check if the values from the fields are available inside the Editor;

Let me know. If they are there, it means that ACF language settings are correct.

I have enabled/saved as "Same Fields Across Languages" in ACF PRO custom module.
I also added my custom module to the page.
However, when I translate the page using the steps you provided, the custom module does not appear in the Translation Editor.

Please check the screenshots below.

Hey there,

Thank you for sharing the results.

I would like to look at this directly on your site. For this I would need temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site, preferably to a test/staging site where the problem has been replicated if possible.

The required fields can be found below the comments section. The information you enter is private, i.e. only you and I can see it and have access to it.

I may need to replicate your website locally. To do this, I need to temporarily install a plugin called "Duplicator" or "All in One WP Migration" on your website. This will allow me to create a copy of your website and content. Once the issue is resolved, I will delete the local website. Let me know if this works for you.

IMPORTANT

Please make a backup copy of the site files and database before giving us access.

- If you do not see the wp-admin/FTP fields, this means your post and site login details are being made PUBLIC. DO NOT post your website details if you do not see the required wp-admin/FTP fields. If you do not, ask me to enable the private box. The private box looks like this:

Hello there,

Unfortunately, we don't offer live calls on support. As an alternative, you can provide me with a copy of your website, and remove any unrelated confidential information from it. You can check the steps here:

https://wpml.org/de/faq/provide-supporters-copy-site/

What I need is one or two examples of the issue, so I can check and debug it. Thank you for your patience.
