This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
The client is unable to find and update the Japanese translation of a specific line in a WooCommerce email notification that has reverted to an incorrect version. The line in question is part of a customer email for a failed order.
Solution:
We recommend the following steps to locate and translate the string:
1. Edit the email content in the original language and make a small change, then save these changes. This action will refresh the entry in the database.
2. Follow the steps described in this guide to find and translate the string that does not appear on the string translation page: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/string-translation/finding-strings-that-dont-appear-on-the-string-translation-page/
If these steps do not resolve your issue, or if the solution seems outdated or irrelevant to your case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the problem persists, please open a new support ticket at our support forum.
