Background of the issue:
I am facing an issue with translating ACF fields for a category in WordPress using WPML. Here are the details:
1. I translated the category into multiple languages. The last language I translated was Dutch.
2. Upon checking, some ACF fields for the Dutch translation of the category still display content in English instead of Dutch.
3. In the WPML settings, I noticed these ACF fields were set to "Copy" instead of "Translate." The ACF field in question is a "Selfie Gallery," which allows adding images and labels when required.
4. I changed the WPML settings for the ACF fields from "Copy" to "Translate."
5. After updating the WPML settings, I went to the taxonomy translation and edited the Dutch category. While the ACF fields became visible, they appeared blank with no content.
6. To troubleshoot further, I created a test post, assigned this category to it, and translated the post into Dutch. However, the ACF field content still displayed in English.
Symptoms:
Some ACF fields for the Dutch translation of the category still display content in English instead of Dutch, and after changing settings the fields appeared in taxanomy translation in WPML when we open it in edit mode, but the fields were blank.
Questions:
How can I get the content back to the fields with translations whenever we edit the category in taxonomy translation?
How can I ensure the ACF fields for the Dutch category show the translated content instead of the English content?

Hello there!
I suspect you're using the expert mode in ACF, is that correct? if so, since you're using the translation editor, could you switch to "same translation across languages"?
Once you do that, please resend the page for translation from WPML > Translation management or by adding a character to the title of the page + save, to update the content and configuration of the translation session.
------------
Can you confirm you're not using any PHP or JSON to handle the configuration (export the ACF settings)?

To investigate the issue, I kindly ask you to grant me access to the wp-admin area of your website.
I have enabled the necessary fields on my end so you can provide them to me in a secure and private manner. This way, only the two of us will be able to view them.
If possible and for your safety, i'd suggest you create a new user (a fake one with a fake mail) that you can later delete when the ticket is closed.

Also please tell me the name of the field group and a page using it so I can test it.
Regards.
