This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
The client reported two issues: firstly, the translated footer is not displaying correctly on the live site. Secondly, the flag icon for language selection on the mobile version is excessively large.
Solution:
For the first issue regarding the footer, we need more specific details or access to check the settings and ensure that the translation and display settings are correctly configured in WPML. For the second issue, we resolved it by applying a custom CSS rule to limit the maximum width of the flag to 50px. This adjustment can be made by navigating to Customize > Custom CSS. If this solution does not resolve the issue or if it reoccurs, we recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins.
If the problem persists or if the provided solution is not applicable due to updates or different circumstances, please do not hesitate to open a new support ticket. We highly recommend visiting our support forum for further assistance at WPML Support Forum.
