Problem:
You are trying to translate the homepage using WPML, but encounter an error stating that WPML tried to translate the page three times and failed.
Solution:
We have resolved the issue on our end. Please follow these steps to fix the problem on your site:
1. Edit the page in the original language.
2. Make a small change to the content.
3. Save the changes.
4. Update the translation.
If the issue persists, activate the WordPress debug mode by following the guide at https://developer.wordpress.org/advanced-administration/debug/debug-wordpress/. After enabling debug mode, repeat the steps and check for any fatal errors in the debug.log file located within the wp-content folder.

Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate the homepage using WPML. The issue can be seen on this page: hidden link. I expect to be able to translate the page.

Symptoms:
I got an error saying: WPML tried to translate this page three times and failed. To get it fixed, contact WPML support.

Why is the WPML plugin not translating the homepage?
