As part of our procurement process, our legal and security teams have reviewed the policies listed on your website. They have flagged a few critical compliance points that we need to resolve before we can move forward with the purchase.
Could you please review the following requirements and let us know how we can address them?
* Terms of Use / License Agreement: Our legal team requires a copy of your official Terms of Use or End User License Agreement (EULA) to review the usage terms, as we were unable to locate a comprehensive document on your website. Could you please share a copy?
* Data Sharing during M&A (Privacy Policy, Section 4): Your policy states that information may be shared during negotiations of a merger or sale. We cannot agree to the sharing of our sensitive data during “negotiations” or “due diligence.” We would require an addendum or agreement stating that we will receive prior notice of any such event, along with the right to delete or export our data before a transfer of ownership occurs.
* Security Liability and Breach Notification (Privacy Policy, Section 8): The policy currently absolves WPML of liability in the event of a security threat. For us to proceed, we require a commitment that WPML maintains industry-standard encryption (e.g., TLS 1.2+) and security protocols. We also need an agreement that WPML remains liable for breaches caused by its own negligence or failure to maintain appropriate measures. Additionally, we require a commitment to a 48-hour breach notification and a full incident report in the event of unauthorized third-party access. Please note that this is a strict internal compliance requirement for us to proceed with the tool.
* Support Access Risks (WPML Support Policy): The policy mentions that WPML support may request access to our site, copy data for debugging, or request credentials. Because we handle highly sensitive information, granting direct site access or handing over credentials poses a high operational risk. Could you clarify your enterprise support procedures? For instance, can support issues be resolved via supervised screen-sharing sessions or by providing redacted/anonymized logs instead of direct access?
Do you have a standard Data Processing Agreement (DPA) or an Enterprise/Custom agreement that addresses these types of enterprise security requirements?

Hi, I’m not familiar with GTranslate Pro plugin but you should be able to keep the translations and the URL structure.
Yes, you can have Automatic Translation with WPML but if you exceed the credit quota we provide with the subscription you’ll need to buy credits.
