Hello, I want to buy wpml subscription. But I have a question – if at any point in the future I want to cancel the subscription, will I be able to keep the blog posts translated so far? Thank you for your answer!
Hello. Even though my subscription expired, i still have over 100k translation credits. I would like to use those credits on a new site but I cant install the WPML plugin on the site in question. Is it possible to do so without renewing my license. It wont make sense to renew it and get 180k credits that I wont use anytime soon!
Hi, a subscription is needed to continue using WPML and getting updates, as it’s our main product. Even if you could install WPML on another site without a license you can’t transfer credits there.
Hi, We are from India and tried to purchase a WPML plugin Agency feature but after selecting India country Paypal going to error. could you please help me with the payment asap.
What does this plugin do exactly?
Does it duplicate menu’s, pages, and everything what’ s made in the standard language?
Or does it simply translate the existing page’s?
Is there a demo site i can preview the plugin on the cms side?
What does it do with SEO, does it simply translates the slug or am I in full control?
We have a custom theme, does WPML work with every custom made Theme?
Do I have to use a seperate plug-in like Polylang?
Hello, the plugin creates posts, pages etc in the other language directly in the database. You can translate the slug but also change it if you wish. If you use Yoast or RankMath we have optimization for them with the addon WPML SEO.
Usually WPML can work with any theme but depending on the theme itself some adjustments might be needed, for example if the theme doesn’t use GetText wrapping the strings can’t be translated.
I’m not sure what you mean with “Do I have to use a seperate plug-in like Polylang?”. If you use WPML, you can’t use other translation plugins or they’ll clash. But you may need to install the addons to fully translate the site.
We don’t have a demo site but we offer a 30-day money back guarantee.
I’m considering switching from Weglot to WPML. I found your comparison helpful, but I have a follow-up question.
With our current Weglot plan, we have a word limit of 50,000 and our website currently contains approximately 53,000 words.
My question is, if I choose to switch to WPML, does the Multilingual CMS plan have no word count limit?
Additionally, am I free to add as many languages as I want, or is there a limit on the number of languages supported on each plan?
Hi,
WPML doesn’t have any limitation on languages, you can add as many as you want on any plan.
WPML’s Automatic translation feature doesn’t work with words but with credits. When you purchase WPML we add to your account a certain amount of credits (90k for CMS package, 180k for Agency) and you can use the credits to translate. Depending on the translation engine, a word is worth a different number of credits (up to 4). Once you finish the credits if you still need to translate you can buy more or activate a subscription (cheaper). You can do a simulation of prices here https://wpml.org/documentation/automatic-translation/automatic-translation-pricing/
Hi,
the emails are generated by the site, they’re not coming from our servers. So we have no way to stop them. You should ask the owner of the site to remove your account from WPML translators.
We are in the process of transferring several small blogsites into a multisite installation. One of these blogs uses WPML, subscribing to the 1 site option. Is it possible to continue with that, or is a special multisite WPML plugin required?
Hi,
There’s no multisite plugin required for WPML but you need to install it on the main site and then activate it only for the site where you need it. If you have further questions, please open a Support ticket since such inquires should be made there, not in the Pre-sales page.
I currently have a login based on the old authentication method, using an account username rather than an email address. Since you have updated and redesigned the website, I am no longer able to log in in order to access the perpetual license I purchased in the past.
From both a commercial and technical standpoint, this situation is rather unfortunate; however, I trust that it will be resolved in the best possible way, as is fitting for a company such as yours.
Thank you in advance for your prompt attention and response.
Kind regards,
Daniele

Hello,
I would like to translate a website xyz.com in different languages, which is build with the Website Builder Divi from Elegant Themes. The Website has about 15 pages. Which WPML plan is the right for that project? Is it multilingual CMS?
Thank you!
Buonasera,
On our e-commerce website based on WooCommerce we want to remove the base from the Product slugs, remove the Product Category base from the Product Categories slugs and remove the parent slugs from the category URL, using the RankMath PRO SEO plugin, as you can see in this screenshot: https://share.zight.com/o0udN65Z
Will WPML work properly in this kind of setup? Can it translate the Product pages / Product Category pages if those settings from RankMat are applied?
Hi there! I currently have a number of translation credits assigned to my website that haven’t been used yet. We’ll need additional credits to complete the remaining translations, and we’re considering switching to the pay-as-you-go option.
Before doing that, I want to clarify how this works:
1. Will the existing credits currently assigned to my site remain available after switching to pay-as-you-go?
2. Will pay-as-you-go credits only be used once the existing credits are fully consumed?
I want to ensure that none of the remaining credits get lost or overridden when the billing model changes.
My account is scheduled to renew on 4 March 2026, but we would prefer to renew it earlier. Originally, my plan was the ‘Multilingual CMS’ option, which is priced at EUR 99. However, when I tried to select this pricing plan, the website displayed a message saying, “You have already activated this account. Please upgrade your account instead.”
At the same time, the payment amount shown was EUR 199, which corresponds to ‘Multilingual Agency’ plan.
Could you please clarify whether we should proceed with the renewal after 4 March or if there might be an issue with the system?
As we turned off the auto-renew based on our company policy, I worried that there would be problems (e.g., data missing) if we renewed it after 4 March.
Hello,
You can’t pay in advance, but WPML has a 30-day grace period so even if you forget to pay on the 4th you’ll still have time to renew with no consequences.
We are planning to translate our website into 10 languages and would like to clarify several questions in detail with your support team. However, we are currently unable to contact support because we have not yet purchased the plugin. At the same time, we are hesitant to proceed with the purchase until our questions and concerns are properly addressed. We would appreciate it if you could assist us or guide us on how we can discuss our requirements before making a purchase decision.
Hello,
this page exist with the purpose of replying to such questions so you can ask here. Please understand that in some use cases (ie will WPML work with plugin X) even our Support can’t give you a definitive reply. If we don’t know a plugin/theme we cannot guarantee it will work.
Hello,
Please drop us a line on hello@wpml.org with your username or the invoice ID of the purchase of your subscription. This will allow us to locate the right account and help you access it.
hello
i just purchase , but i never receive email i try to rest but i didnt revive it ever , i use email that i pay with paypal and never received it how i chat with customer service ?
Hey! Is there a way to test the plugin somehow to see if it will work for me?
Hi, we don’t have demo or trial version, but we offer a 30-day money-back guaranteed.
Hello, I want to buy wpml subscription. But I have a question – if at any point in the future I want to cancel the subscription, will I be able to keep the blog posts translated so far? Thank you for your answer!
Hi, the translations will remain even without subscription. However, if you don’t renew, WPML might not work correctly anymore.
Unable to purchase the plugin when I am trying to payment the paypal is showing the
” We’re unable to complete your request”
Try a different phone number.
Hi, maybe Paypal is not enabled for your locale? Please write us to hello@wpml.org explaining the issue with more details.
I have sent an email.
Thanks, we’ll reply as soon as possible

is the price a one-time fee or subscription based?

Hello,
we’re only offering yearly subscriptions.
i keep getting emails from 29a0b2e4-09de-4be1-b61a-11613c6859fa@mailout.prositehosting.co.uk
” This is a quick reminder about translation jobs that you sent and are behind schedule.”
I no longer have the site so i cant stop this, and I got WPML refunded so i cant raise a ticket on your support system.
Please stop this and i recomend you add some un subscribe method into the email, because this is beyond irritating.

Hi,
to translate Divi you need the Multilingual CMS license.

Hi Emil,
That should work with WPML.

This kind of question should be done in Support, not in Pre-sales. But the answer to both questions is yes.
Thank you, Laura! I appreciate it.
