This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: The client was experiencing an issue where a cogwheel icon appeared and persisted after translating a page using WPML, preventing visibility of the changes. Solution: 1. We recommended updating WPML to the latest version, 4.8, and checking if the issue persists. 2. We identified that the site was getting blocked, which interfered with the completion of translations. We suggested deactivating the Ultimate Member - reCAPTCHA plugin and the cache plugin to resolve the issue. 3. After testing locally without these plugins, the translation worked correctly. We advised the client to try the same on their site. 4. If the problem reoccurs, we recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that the latest versions of themes and plugins are installed.
If this solution does not resolve the issue or seems irrelevant, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum.

Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate a page on my site hidden link using WPML. We have previously discussed this issue, and it was resolved temporarily, but it has reoccurred.
Symptoms:
The cogwheel icon appears once the translation is complete, preventing us from seeing the changes.
Questions:
Can you tell me what to do to resolve this issue?
Hello,
Thank you, I was able to test it, and changing the theme still doesn't work.
I also created a new page (without Elementor) and that one doesn't translate either.
I just noticed something.
I'm having trouble translating the pages, but I managed to translate the header without any problems (elementor template).
The articles work too (posts).

Please first update to the latest version of WPML, 4.8, which we just released, and send something to be translated and tell me if it appears in WPML --> Translations.

I have problems downloading the archive zip of duplicator.
Do you give me permission to install Check Conflicts plugin? That way I can deactivate plugins without affecting your site to see what is causing the site getting blocked.

I can see that the problem still persists even with all plugins deactivated.
Do you know if there is any firewall active on your hosting?
It’s also a bit strange, because when I tried to download the archive ZIP from Duplicator it said that the file doesn’t exist. This suggests that there might be a firewall or some other security setting blocking the process.
