This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
If you're trying to edit a page using Elementor on your WordPress site and encounter a warning that edits will be lost, this is because you are opening a page translation directly in the Elementor editor. This warning indicates that any existing translations done with the Advanced Translation Editor (ATE) will be lost if you proceed.
Solution:
We recommend choosing one translation method to avoid this issue. If you prefer to use Elementor for translations, you can disable the Advanced Translation Editor for that specific page or post. For detailed instructions on how to do this, please visit our documentation: Using Different Translation Editors for Different Pages.

Please note that this solution might be irrelevant if it's outdated or not applicable to your case. Background of the issue:
I am trying to edit a page using Elementor on my WordPress site, specifically at the URL: hidden link. I expected to see the translated book covers and content in Kinyarwanda.

Symptoms:
When I attempt to edit the page, a pop-up warning appears stating: 'Warning: Edits you're about to make will be lost. You are about to edit this translation using Elementor. Any changes you make will be lost the next time you send this page for translation.' The page remains in English without any changes.

Questions:
Why am I seeing a warning about losing edits when using Elementor?
How can I edit the page and see the translated content in Kinyarwanda?

Thank you for contacting WPML support.

The behavior you’re experiencing is expected. The warning appears because you’re opening the page translation directly in the Elementor editor. It indicates that any existing translations done with the Advanced Translation Editor (ATE) will be lost if you proceed with editing the translation directly in Elementor.

Please note that WPML does not support mixing translation methods. You must choose one approach: either continue translating using WPML’s Advanced Translation Editor or exclusively use the Elementor editor for manual translations.

If you prefer to use Elementor, you can disable the Advanced Translation Editor for that specific page or post. Here’s how:
