My site is running slow and I suspect WPML may be causing performance issues. Could you please check the configuration and advise what settings or plugins from the WPML package could be optimized or disabled to improve site speed?
1.- I kindly ask you to share the site debug information as described in this link: https://wpml.org/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support/ so we can have a better view of your site configuration that will help us start investigating the performance issue.
2.- Also, I kindly ask you to compare the loading time with the WPML plugins active VS deactivated to confirm this is related to WPML.
3.- Last but not least: do you see the performance issue in the frontend, the backend, or both?
The performance issue occurs on both the frontend and the backend on the sites where WPML is installed. On my other stores without WPML the problem does not occur, which confirms it is WPML-related.
