This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
I'm facing a problem with Elementor Pro Gallery, that doesn't translate images Titles.

Solution:
As I suspected previously, these values cannot be translated with an Elementor config. The title is obtained by the attachment translation title.

To fix this (as I did on the staging site, also in the Sandbox):

- please install and enable Media Translation (from Plugins -> Add New -> Commercial tab, or here https://wpml.org/account/downloads/)
- change the title for the second language
- run the search-translate process when it appears in the WPML > Media Translation on the top of the page there. This should replace the title.

Hello again,

I have double-checked the problem, but so far I haven't been able to find a fix. I asked my colleagues to take a look to see if there's anything I'm missing.

I'll come back here as soon as one of them answers me (which shouldn't take long). Thank you in advance for your patience!

Regards,
Mateus.

Hi Stéphane,

Visiting the translated project will show the translated title after this process is done: hidden link

Could you please give it a try in your end? Thank you.

Hi Mateus,

From what I understood, I tried on my production website, but it didn't work.

When you say: "change the title for the second language":
Do you mean to translate ALL the image titles in the Library OR in the Media translation window ? I did the translation test in the Media translation window, so I guess it should have been in the Media Library ... is that it ?

When you say: "run the search-translate process when it appears in the WPML > Media Translation on the top of the page there":
That's what I did, but prior doing the translations, so I guess I did it wrong, but know, this button is not there anymore.

So, from there, what should I do ?

Thanks.

Hi there,

Answering the questions:

Do you mean to translate ALL the image titles in the Library OR in the Media translation window ? I did the translation test in the Media translation window, so I guess it should have been in the Media Library ... is that it ?

Both of them should work. I tested in the staging website and they worked just fine here: hidden link. The thing is, if you do it through the MT module, you might need to re-sync the images translation using the 'Analyser et remplacer' button that appears after the change.

When you say: "run the search-translate process when it appears in the WPML > Media Translation on the top of the page there":
That's what I did, but prior doing the translations, so I guess I did it wrong, but know, this button is not there anymore.

It should appear to you right away after making a change in the Media title Translation, like in this screenshot: hidden link

Please review out this info, give it another try and let us know how it goes. Thanks!

Regards,
Mateus.

Hi Mateus,

Thanks for the details. Finally it works, that's just that I didn't see the button to resync the images after the changes in ML. But what seems more efficient is to tranlate directly in the library, then, apprently, there is no need to resync !

Thanks for your help
