This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is experiencing a RAM usage error when trying to save changes on a German page using the Multilingual CMS plugin. The error does not occur with other language versions, and saving is only possible with the plugin disabled.

Solution:
1. We recommend creating a backup of the website or testing on a staging version to avoid disrupting the live site.
2. Navigate to WordPress Dashboard > Pages.
3. Hover over the problematic page and select "Quick Edit".
4. Note the SLUG value, copy it, and then change the slug to something else (e.g., add '1' at the end) and save.
5. Hover over the cloned page that works, select "Quick Edit", and paste the copied slug in place of the current one, then save.
6. Go to the Edit screen of the cloned page and click the Publish button at the top right section of the screen.

Please note that this solution might be outdated or not applicable to your case. If the issue persists, we highly recommend checking the related known issues, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If necessary, please open a new support ticket in the WPML support forum.

We seem to have a serious problem with the Multilingual CMS plugin.
When we try to save a change on the German page, it does not work. It causes a RAM usage error (many times higher than normal).
It works on the other language versions.

Hello

I appreciate this, but how do i swap the sites? I don`t know..
We were disconnected and i couldn`t see the last reply.. something with changing Standorte und Standorte1 but don`t know what this means exactly.. sorry

Can we connect again?

Hi there,

Unfortunately, we do not have phone support and exposing the phone number in this public forum is not safe. I set the previous reply as private.

Also, we did not access your website from the day the chat has been disconnected so I am not sure about your access to the test site. you can ask your hosting service provider for that.

As the issue was fixed in the cloned page you can do as follows to use the cloned page instead:

- IMPORTANT STEP! Create a backup of your website. Or better approach will be to test this on a copy/staging version of the website to avoid any disruption of a live website.
- Go to WordPress Dashboard > Pages.
- Hover over the page that has the issue.
- Click the "Quick Edit" option.
- Note the SLUG value there and copy it, then change the slug value to something else, for example add 1 at the end of the slug and save.
- Hover over the clones page that works and click "Quick Edit".
- Add the copied slug instead for this cloned one and save.
- Go to the Edit screen of the cloned page and click the Publish button at the top right section of the screen and it should work.
