Hello!

We are a web development agency based in Latvia, where websites are often created in two or three languages. We use your plugin and recommend it to our clients.

However, lately, we have been facing significant issues with your plugin. There are constant problems, and your support team has been unable to assist us effectively. Currently, all our websites with WPML installed are experiencing slow loading times, causing issues with our clients. Some clients have even opted to stop using WPML, and their websites immediately became faster.

Could you please address the loading speed issue on our clients' websites? Or should we start exploring alternatives to WPML?

Hi,

I have reviewed your account to find the previously opened performance-related tickets that our support was not able to assist with, to ensure all was done according to our procedure but I am not able to find any. I can see 8 topics but none related to performance.

When it comes to performance-related issues, we have a procedure our team follows to ensure they are resolved and it often involves our dev team.

Can you please share with me a website that is experiencing a performance issue to further investigate along with some additional information.

1. Did you notice the performance issue started recently after an update?

2. Are you using any SSL-helping plugins on the site?

3. based on the debug info provided on this ticket for the site ozo.....lv the WP Memory Limit is set to 40M please increase to 256M or higher

4. Consider disabling "display as translated" (Fallback mode) from post types, taxonomies, custom fields, etc. in WPML > Settings

5. Turn off “Track where strings appear on the site” in String Translation

Note: I understand you have performance issues with more than 1 site, it is best if we can focus on 1 site at a time in case we need to escalate and involve our dev team for further review.

Note 2: Upto 20% (approx) time increase is within a normal range.
