Background of the issue:
Hello, the website hidden link has 3 languages: Dutch, French, and English. The URLs for French and English are hidden link and hidden link respectively. However, the standard language Dutch does not have a language tag in the URL.
Symptoms:
SemRush rapport says that I have 77 hreflang conflicts within page source code. I think it is because there is no /nl in the URLs.
Questions:
Is it correct that the hreflang conflicts are due to the absence of /nl in the URLs?
How can I add /nl to the URLs for the Dutch language?
Languages: English (English )Spanish (Español )German (Deutsch )
Timezone: America/Lima (GMT-05:00)
Hello,
You can go to WPML > Languages > Language URL format and enable the option "Use directory for default language" but you might need to create a root page or a redirect template so that users will be redirected from sitename.com to sitename.com/nl.
Now, I do somehow doubt that the issues that SemRush is indicating are related to that. Maybe you could provide us more details about what SemRush is reporting?
Best regards
Andreas
