Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate a larger page with many elements using WPML. The element types are all translatable, and most of the page can be translated correctly. However, the last section does not appear in the translation editor. I am using Avada Builder, which is compatible with WPML. Here is the link to the page where the issue can be seen: hidden link

Symptoms:
The content starting with the headline 'Consilia Anstalt' is completely missing inside the translation editor, despite being translatable.

Questions:
Is it possible we are running out of memory (we have 512MB)?
Could there be another problem?

Hi,

Welcome to WPML support. I will answer this ticket before the ticket is assigned to one of my colleagues.

Would you please do a test? Use the Yoast Duplicate Post plugin to duplicate the page in question.

On the copied version go to the original language and remove the section one by one and save, go to ATE and see if you see the last section.

Do the same till only the last section stays.

If it is not showing even then, I suggest that you try to recreate that section on a separate page to see what might be the problem cause.

Thanks.

Thank you for the suggestion. I did the test.
- The copied page showed the same symptoms.
- After deleting preceding elements, the last part starts to show up.
- Going back a revision also brings back the problem.
- Deleting elements on the top allows elements on the bottom to appear. But it's not consistent.

This definitely looks like some kind of limit.

I forgot to mention I am using Firefox. I will test Chrome as well.

Hi,

I'll continue to help you with this issue.

Please know that in WPML's Advanced Translation Editor, sections load as you scroll down. Sometimes, you may need to wait a few seconds for more content to load. Please check if this might be the issue.

Could you please share the results of the testing with Chrome?

Regards,
Itamar.

Hello Itamar,

The test with Chrome had the same results, so it's not a Firefox problem. I also tested with Edge, on Linux, Windows, Laptop & Desktop. All show exactly the same results.

It's also not the loading time. Except if it would be extremely long.

Regards,
Sara

Hi,

Our second-tier supporter has fixed this issue. It is not possible to edit the translation of the section that was missing in the Advanced Translation Editor. Please see the attached screenshot. Our second-tier supporter explained how he solved it: "I made a small change to the provided page, added a textblock, and removed it. Now I can see the text."

Can you please confirm it is all right now?
If you have other pages with this issue, you can proceed with the same steps.

Regards,
Itamar.

Hello Itamar,

No, this doesn't help. That's the first thing I tried.

You can also see in your supporters screenshot that he deleted all other content.
As I described earlier with less content it works for me as well.

When all content is present I still have exactly the same issue.

Regards,
Sara

I just noticed something else. I added two textblocks. They are translatable, but they appear in a completely wrong order.

Is it possible that the problem isn't missing elements, but a wrong order of all elements?

Hi,

I apologize if I was not clear enough in my previous reply when I shared the screenshot. It is not the only content on this page. I searched for "Consilia Anstalt" and therefore received the two places where this text appears. Please see the attached screenshot. Please be aware of the search option in the Advanced Translation Editor.

Regarding the order of the different sections as it appears in the Advanced Translation Editor. Indeed, it will not always be in the order in which it is on the front end. That's normal.

Regards,
Itamar.
