Background of the issue:
I cannot access the translation management menu anymore after the recent WPML update. I get redirected to a 404 page when clicking on the WPML menu button.

Symptoms:
Error message: 'You do not have permission to view this page'.

Questions:
Why can't I access the translation management menu after the WPML update?
How can I resolve the permission error and 404 page issue?

While one of my teammates handles your ticket, I will provide you with some initial debugging steps.

Please try updating the WPML plugins using the fresh downloaded copies by following these instructions:

1. Download the latest version of WPML from https://wpml.org/account/downloads/.
2. Disable the WPML plugins.
3. Delete them (Note: Your settings and translations will remain intact in the database and will not be deleted).
4. Upload the newly downloaded WPML plugins by navigating to Plugins -> Add New -> Upload Plugin.
5. Activate the WPML plugins.

Before you proceed, please ensure you make a full backup of your website.
