This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client needed assistance with using the www. version of a domain for a secondary language on their website.
Solution:
We confirmed that the domain

https://www.dazze.ru/

was properly set up and redirecting to the main site

https://www.dazze.studio/

. We advised the client to proceed with the configuration of a domain per language. If any issues arose with the WWW version, we recommended checking the solution in the following forum post:

Hello there,

Just to see if I understood it correctly, do you want to use the www version of the site for one language and the non-www version of the site for another language?

Eg.: hidden link goes to the English version and hidden link goes to the Russian version, something like that?

The way one domain per language works, is that it needs the alternative domain to be parked or an alias of the main domain, the best way to test it, is if both domains go to the main domain if WPML or the option 'one domain per language' are disabled.

As long as you have this scenario, WPML will make sure to serve the right version depending on what you configured inside WPML -> Languages.

I suspect not, but you might want to double-check directly with your DNS Registrar or hosting company support to see if the WWW x non-WWW domains can become alias or parked domain of each other, or if there's a workaround to achieve it.

Thank you, please let us know if you have other doubts.

Thank you for the reply. Sorry for any confusion. We have the main domain hidden link which is the default language. Our secondary language is using, at the moment, hidden link. We would ideally like to use the hidden link for the secondary language, the www. version of the domain. Is it possible?

Hello there,

Thank you for that extra information.

I checked it and the domain hidden link seems to be properly set up and already redirecting to the main site hidden link

Please proceed with the configuration of a domain per language and if you find any issues with the WWW version, please check if the solution described here helps:

It worked, so it must have been the domain/DNS propagation.
