This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is trying to get the embedded events calendar made with Elfsight to translate on their page using WPML. The calendar does not translate automatically, and the client attempted to use a custom shortcode which did not work.
Solution:
We examined the client's staging site and determined that WPML is capable of translating content created directly on the website. However, since the Elfsight calendar is generated through a script and its content is sourced from third-party websites, WPML cannot translate it automatically. We recommend reaching out to the plugin author for further assistance.

Please note that this solution might be irrelevant if it's outdated or not applicable to your case. We highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the issue persists, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum.

Background of the issue:
I am trying to get the embedded events calendar made with Elfsight to translate on my page: hidden link. Currently, I am using a workaround by creating an entirely separate Events Calendar in Spanish and displaying it for Spanish. I attempted to call the script via a custom shortcode, but that method did not work.

Symptoms:
The embedded events calendar is not translating automatically with WPML.

Questions:
How can I get the embedded events calendar made with Elfsight to translate on my page: hidden link?
Is there a way to get WPML to translate the embedded calendar automatically?

Thanks for your reply.

I need to check your Website backend to understand a little bit more about how this works. Therefore, I will need to closely examine your website. Therefore, I will require temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to a test site where the problem has been replicated, if possible. This will enable me to provide better assistance and determine if any configurations need to be modified.

Please note that it is important to have a backup for security purposes and to prevent any potential data loss. You can use the UpdraftPlus plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/updraftplus/) to fulfill your backup requirements.

Your upcoming reply will be treated with confidentiality and will only be visible to you and me.

✙ To resolve the issue, I may need your consent to deactivate and reactivate plugins and the theme, as well as make configuration changes on the site if necessary. This emphasizes the significance of having a backup.

Thanks for your reply.

I'm checking your staging site now and I'm not sure how you create those Calendars. Could you briefly explain to me how these events are created?

The calendars are created through Elfsight (hidden link) and their scripts are embedded via their page template (see screenshot).
