Hello Team,

I have handled my client's website hidden link. It has multiple languages, such as Spanish, French, German, Slovenian, and English.

But for the last 1 month, I faced such a huge issue with the WPML plugin. Means, after a Sometimes langauge content/text is converted to English. And I need to convert it again to the appropriate language.
For example, in german site pages. All the text in German today, I added all the content in German. But when tomorrow or letter it I checked in german page, the content shows in English. That's making my client frustrated, and me.

That's been done more than 10 times.

So, I need your help. Please suggest any solution???

Thank you!

Can you please suggest to me the proper way to translate an English site to multiple languages?

Hello,

I already mentioned this in our previous chat, but perhaps it was not clear enough.

The issue happens because you are manually editing translations using the WordPress editor, while WPML is still configured to use the WPML Translation Editor for those pages.

In this situation, WPML can overwrite the manually added translations and restore the content from the default language, which is why your German, French, or other translations are changing back to English.

Since you are translating the content manually, you need to make sure the pages are set to use the WordPress Editor instead of the WPML Translation Editor.

Please check the attached screenshot and follow our documentation carefully to switch the translation method correctly.

After that, the manually added translations should no longer be overwritten.

Regards,
Drazen
