Background of the issue:
I am experiencing significant performance issues on my multisite installation (uwcstaging.co.uk) after activating the WPML plugin. The multisite utilizes a custom theme and includes a function to duplicate updated content between subsites when triggered.

Symptoms:
The multisite's performance has become unbearably slow after activating WPML. Despite following recommendations to improve performance, there has been little to no improvement.

Questions:
Could you please review the site or provide further guidance on potential solutions?

Hello,

Please take kindly note that WPML does not support connecting contents between different subsites of a Multisite network.

If the issue is caused by your custom function, we suggest not running such approach when using WPML.

For a better understanding of what you are trying to achieve you are welcome to post us the custom code that is running the issue on your site and we can take a look into it, but take note that generally we can not take responsibility for custom code approaches and we can not support functionalities that WPML does not support.
