Hi Dimitrios,

Thank you for your patience while I investigated it.

The ">" symbol in the language switcher is likely due to a span tag being closed twice, please check the source-code:

<span data-text="<img class=" wpml-ls-flag"="" src="<em><u>hidden link</u></em>" alt="English"> ">

While the language switcher is a WPML functionality, how it is displayed in the screen depends mostly on the theme you're using:

https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/language-setup/language-switcher-options/how-to-fix-styling-and-css-issues-for-the-language-switchers/

As far as I could research, this specific issue doesn't seem to happen with other themes.

Even though the Neera theme uses Elementor, the Neera itself and is not listed as WPML compatible, standard WPML solutions are not resolving the issue. I tried using CSS and JS as well to at least provide you with a temporary workaround, but the solution seems to involve changing the theme itself.

I'd suggest contacting the theme author for a fix. They can debug and address the issue.

Also, please recommend that the theme author join our Go Global program for full compatibility with WPML.

This should help ensure your theme works smoothly with WPML.

Best regards,
Mateus
