[Resolved] Translation progress stuck – "translation assigned to local translator"
This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: You are trying to translate content using WPML, but the translation is stuck in progress despite having assigned a translator. The system displays messages indicating that translations are awaiting or assigned, but there is no progress. Solution: We discovered that there were incorrect settings in the Advanced Translation options in your database.
Please note that this solution might be outdated or not applicable to your specific case. We highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the issue continues, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum for further assistance.

Hello,
On our system it looks like you moved the live site once to localhost and then another time to a staging site. The issue is that all three sites are using the same site key.
WPML must be re-registered after each website migration or after changing the domain or domain provider.
Thank you for your message!
I have followed your advice. The problem persists and the following message appears: “English translation assigned to local translator”. However, I haven't received any new errors in the Advanced Translation Editor error log. I've cleared the cache and synchronized.

Hi,
Are you not able too open this translation while being logged in as admin and clicking on the "Clockwork" icon?
---
If not, I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to the site to investigate the issue further.
The required fields are below the comment section when you log in to leave the next reply. The information you provide is private, meaning only you and I can see and access it.
IMPORTANT
Please be sure to back up the site and database before granting us access.
If you can't see the "wp-admin / FTP" fields, your post and site login details will be set to "PUBLIC". DO NOT publish the data unless you see the required wp-admin / FTP fields.
I may need to install a plugin called "All In One WP Migration" here to create a copy of the site that I can use to investigate the issue further.
However, I would also be very grateful if you could provide a staging site or copy of the website from your server for this purpose.
If you have any questions about creating such a staging site, you can consult your hosting provider. Please note that WPML must also be registered on this staging site at https://wpml.org/de/account/websites/.
If you are not able to provide such a copy of the website for testing, please let me know on this ticket.

Our second-tier support took an adjustment on your site, as it appears that there were two options related to the Advanced Translation not set correctly on the database.
Could you please verify if this issue is solved now?
