Background of the issue: We also tried rescanning the review database through the Troubleshooting section, but nothing changed. Any advice? Symptoms: Questions: It’s important to clarify that the option to display reviews in all languages has been correctly enabled. |

Hey there, Thank you for sharing the details. I would like to look at this directly on your site. For this I would need temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site, preferably to a test/staging site where the problem has been replicated if possible. The required fields can be found below the comments section. The information you enter is private, i.e. only you and I can see it and have access to it. I may need to replicate your website locally. To do this, I need to temporarily install a plugin called "Duplicator" or "All in One WP Migration" on your website. This will allow me to create a copy of your website and content. Once the issue is resolved, I will delete the local website. Let me know if this works for you. IMPORTANT Please make a backup copy of the site files and database before giving us access. - If you do not see the wp-admin/FTP fields, this means your post and site login details are being made PUBLIC. DO NOT post your website details if you do not see the required wp-admin/FTP fields. If you do not, ask me to enable the private box. The private box looks like this: hidden link |

Good morning Lucas, first of all, thank you for your time. Unfortunately, I can’t provide you with access to our site at the moment, but I’ll try to give you some more details. I should mention that I previously opened this ticket, so I was expecting things to go smoothly: https://wpml.org/forums/topic/best-way-to-handle-reviews-in-the-wrong-language-section/ I followed the described procedure, but in the Translation Management section, I can’t find the “Other texts (Strings)” area. I’m sending you some screenshots: One where you can see that I attempted to send a string for translation from the String Translator section, but it didn’t appear in the Translation Management area. Another where you can see that I haven’t activated the “Show reviews in all languages” option yet, to avoid mixing reviews on the pages (I’d prefer to translate them all first and only then display them). Lastly, one showing the Translation Management section, where the “wcml-reviews” domain is missing, even though I can see it among the strings. Do you have any suggestions? Or would you need any additional screenshots? Thanks! |

Let's try without website access. It's necessary that the setting that shows reviews in all languages is enabled. Please make a full website backup and follow the steps below: 1. Go to WooCommerce > WooCommerce Multilingual and Multicurrency > Settings and chack "By default, show reviews in all languages"; Let me know if it works this way. |

Could you please share a screenshot showing where I can find the “Other texts (Strings)” section? I followed the procedure, and everything works fine, but when it comes to finding this specific area, it simply isn’t there on the Translation Management page. I’ve searched everywhere, especially at the bottom where you mentioned, but it’s just not there! I also enabled the option you referred to—luckily, I have a staging site where I can test things—but honestly, I still can’t find it. |

I apologize for the confusion. You're not seeing this option, because you're not using the latest version of WPML. Please go to Plugins and click on "Registered" under WPML Multilingual CMS. Finally, click on "Check for updates" and update to the 4.7 version. After that, you should see the option to translate Reviews in WPML > Translation Management. I've added a screenshot showing where you can find it. |

Ah, okay, that’s what was missing. While we’re at it, I’d like to ask you one last thing. I assume it will work, but is there a way to translate a huge number of reviews (we have around 1,800 to translate) using WPML AI and then export them from the dev site to import them onto www? This way, we wouldn’t have to pay twice. I understand—it would be better to do it directly on www, but since it’s a live site, we’re not comfortable updating it immediately to the latest version just released. |

Hello, Yes, there is. You can use known exporting/importing content tools, along with our extension. This link explains in more detail how the process works: Nonetheless, you can connect the dev site and the main one, so they share translation memory. That means that if the content is translated in staging, when you send the same content for translation on the live website, you won't get charged. Check the link on the subject: Let me know if that answers it. |
