Background of the issue:
I am trying to have my pages translated automatically using WPML. My credits are being used, but the pages remain in the original language. The issue can be seen on this page: hidden link
Symptoms:
The pages are not being translated automatically as expected. They appear as translated in the software but remain in Serbian, which is the original language.
Questions:
Why are my pages not being translated automatically?
Why are my credits being used if the pages are not translated?
Thanks for contacting us. I've checked your English and German language homepage and it is displaying the correct translations. Could you please try clearing your browser cache and rechecking? Or use the incognito browser mode.
Thanks for your reply. It's probably cached, as it seems to work fine here. Could you share a screenshot of the section that is not translated correctly?
I dont know how you see the page translated on german hidden link
Because when we check it on geopicker on all different countries, it's showing the main page translated to Serbian
Recently, I've been working with WPML for a long time, and I've noticed that the auto translator isn't doing a good job. We also have a problem with our footer, which we've translated into different languages, but it's still showing in Serbian. However, some pages have been translated correctly.
Generally, your translator is not translating automatically; half of the page is translated, half of the page is not translated, so I have a bigger mess than the job that is made. Also footer is IMPOSIBLE to translate, and credits are just spending for every try that we make.
Thanks for your reply. I can see the issue now. I will need to closely examine your website. Therefore, I will require temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to a test site where the problem has been replicated, if possible. This will enable me to provide better assistance and determine if any configurations need to be modified.
Please note that it is important to have a backup for security purposes and to prevent any potential data loss. You can use the UpdraftPlus plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/updraftplus/) to fulfill your backup requirements.
Your upcoming reply will be treated with confidentiality and will only be visible to you and me.
✙ To resolve the issue, I may need your consent to deactivate and reactivate plugins and the theme, as well as make configuration changes on the site if necessary. This emphasizes the significance of having a backup.
