Background of the issue:
I am using WPML String Translation on my site hidden link. I am trying to manage .mo files with translations.

Symptoms:
WPML String Translation is attempting to write .mo files with translations to a folder.

Questions:
Do you have recommended workflows or workarounds in WP VIP for managing .mo files?
Can I use symlinking or suppress the error message?

Hello!

While you wait for my colleague to take over the case, let me try to help.

If you are seeing a message that tells you that WPML cannot write MO files, 99% of the time it’s a file permission problem. WPML is attempting to write to the languages folder in WordPress, but that folder is not accessible.

As the message says you will need to contact your hosting support and make sure the folder is writable.

Please check next link for more related info:

Let me know how it goes.

Thanks,
Drazen
