This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client needed to check the remaining translation credits in their WPML account and understand the usage of these credits, especially since they believed they hadn't used up their allotment of 90,000 credits. They were also unsure if credits from a few years ago were correctly applied or used.
Solution:
We advised the client to check their current credit balance and past usage by visiting their WPML account page at https://wpml.org/account. For detailed reports on automatic translation usage, we directed them to navigate to WPML > Translation Management > Tools > Payment and settings > Automatic Translation Usage Reports. More information on accessing past invoices can be found here: https://wpml.org/documentation/automatic-translation/automatic-translation-invoices/#where-to-find-your-past-pay-as-you-go-invoices.
Upon further investigation, we discovered that 10,000 credits were stuck due to a system issue related to account ID changes during site migrations or WPML resets. We resolved this by reallocating the stuck credits back to the client's current account.

If this solution does not resolve your issue, or if it seems outdated or irrelevant to your specific case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Background of the issue:
I am trying to see how many credits I have left on my WPML account. I have a CMS level account which includes 90,000 credits for automatic translation. I do not believe I've used all of these credits.

Symptoms:
I am unsure where to check the remaining credits and where to see the usage of credits so far.

Questions:
Where do I check to see how many credits I have left on my WPML account?
Where do I check to see where I've used credits so far?

Hi there.

Here (https://wpml.org/account) you should be able to see how many existing & unused credits you have available on your WPML.org account.

Also, you should be able to find your Automatic Translation Usage Report if you go to WPML > Translation Management > Tools > Payment and settings > Automatic Translation Usage Reports (as you can see in the screenshot from the section below):
https://wpml.org/documentation/automatic-translation/automatic-translation-invoices/#where-to-find-your-past-pay-as-you-go-invoices

I hope that you will find this information helpful.

This is helpful, but does not fully solve my puzzle...I am able to see invoices of translations used in the past 6 months, but what I am seeking would have been earlier than that. There have been no translation credits used in the last 6 months. Is there a way to perform (or have performed) a deeper audit on the translation credit usage on our WPML account to see when/if these 90,000 credits were actually used? I'm trying to answer the question of where these credits were used, or if they were potentially not applied to our account. We purchased the CMS license a few years ago...is it possible the free credits offered at that time may have been a different allotment? See attached for screenshots of what I see for our WPML Account and WP Translation Management screens.

Hi there and welcome back.

Currently, there are zero translation credits available in your WPML.org account.

If you can share with me some website domains that you used automatic translation on, I can definitely take a deeper look at that for you.

It would be my pleasure.

I appreciate a deeper look into our account. We only have two domains associated with our WPML account. One domain is brand new and is in development (staging.evsforeveryone.org) so should not show any credits used for this domain. The other domain has been around for a few years (saferoutesmonterey.org). While I developed this site a few years ago, I believe I only used the free 2000 credits per month, but I am not sure. Lately (any time after Feb 2024) translations have been turned off on this domain as well, as it has become a bit stale in content. Thanks in advance for anything you can uncover!

Thank you for all the information.

I was able to run a deeper check for this domains and I was able to find that yes, for this one (staging.evsforeveryone.org), there is no activity yet, but for the other one (saferoutesmonterey.org), I was able to find a total of 8 automatic translation accounts, and in one of them there are 10.000 credits that got stuck.

When you reset WPML, or when you reinstall WPML/WordPress, and sometimes when you migrate the site, depending on how it gets migrated, WPML will assign a new automatic translation account ID and in our case here, I think this is what happened and that caused the 10.000 credits to get stuck.

I moved those 10.000 credits back to your current WPML.org account and you should be able to see them here:

Please let me know if there are any further questions regarding this topic.
