Tell us what you are trying to do?

Hello Bigul today helped me but later I recognized that the translation options are still not including alt texts of the images on my Envira gallery. The texts are also not visible in String translation as well. I did the "translate tests in admin screen" adding, scanned the string translation and also turned Envira plugin to translatable in settings. But still I can not see or find the alt texts tp translate. Thank you for your kind support. In the meantime this will be my 2nd support request within 1 month because I had cancelled / solved by my self the first one. Thanks a lot.

Is there any documentation that you are following?

Is there a similar example that we can see?

What is the link to your site?

Hi Yusuf,
Thanks for contacting WPML support.

Please go to WPML > Media Translation, then find the image and edit the translation to translate the alt text (Kindly check the attached screenshot)

You can also include the alt text in the translation editor when translating the post/page where the image is added by following these steps:

- Go to WPML > Settings > Media translation > How to handle media library texts
- Enable the "Translate media library texts with posts" option
- Click Apply

Let me know please if that helps.

Kind regards,
Mohamed

Mohammad hi, thanks for your reply. I had already tested all of them but none is working, and today I received reply from Envira support, saying that it is impossible to create multilingual galleries to translate alt text as well. They recomended me to create seperate gallery for each page which I can not use in this way. May I have your suggestion which image gallery plugin to use for WP classic editor? I tried Visual Portfolio but I coudn't do it in Classic Editor. Is there a way to use it in classic editor or any other plugin compatible with WPML?

Thanks a lot,

Yusuf S.
