I am trying to: when you are on dutch site you need to hover between every page, in dutch. but now with some pages is that the case and some not. and i updated every page and every template and every product. and it is still sending my back to default language when i go from one product page to another product page it is bringing my back to default language. and when i go from home screen to that product page it is dutch.

Link to a page where the issue can be seen:
site is not live jet

I expected to see:
that when you set it on dutch all pages and the hole site is dutch

Instead, I got: that with some pages it automatically goes back to default english

Hi,

thanks for contacting us.

Please update WPML to version 4.6.10 as the version you have now is not compatible with WordPress 6.5

You can do that in Plugin > Add new > Commercial

After you update, please go to WPML > Settings and try the "Translate link targets" button

i do not understand what you mean by plugin add new commercial? because i tried it to search for plugin called commercial but could not find anything that looks like wpml. and i indeed have the version 4.6.9 but how can i get the 4.6.10 because i could not find the update in my dashboard.

Okay i want to update you that i have the new versions of wpml. but the problem is still there.
I think the problem is that i can go from page to a template. but not from a template to a template because then it switch back to default language.

Hi there,

It would be good if our team could review this behavior somehow, are you able to give us access to the backend of a staging environment ? I understand the site is not live yet.

If not, please screen record the issue you are experiencing now with a tool like loom for example and share it with me to review, this would help us understand what is causing this behavior faster.

Yes i want to give my temporary login for staging site, because i really need to go live and i am totally lost, i have tried everything and i can not get the solution. also i will make a video to explain the problem. But where can i send the video to ? to an email or can i send a video, in this chat ? also where can i send login?

You can use a service such as Loom to record a screencast and share with us the link to view it.

hi bobby,
i had to change the links manually. i thought it goes automatically. but i have one extra problem. and i saw some other examples of pepeol, who faces the same problem but i did not really understand the explanation. because i want to translate the cartflows checkout and the cart from funnelkit. these are still english. can you help me how i can translate those plugin features ?

Cartflows is not officially listed as compatible with WPML, however, that does not mean it would not work.

Please review the following solution by my colleague and let me know your results:

Hi bobby,

because we are in a hurry i am okay to give temporary login, so you can check from backend. because i already readed the article you send and i have now a dupplicated version of the checkout and thank you page but i dont have the cartflow widgets in the elementor editing screen. so now on english default language you can purchase it from cartflows and you see the cartflows widget. and i have a copy of the dutch versions. only you can only see the tekst like thank you for your order etc. but not the order summary from cartflows. i also asked cartflows self and they say it is not possible. but funnelkit cart also a plugin is also not translated.

I'd be happy to take a further look, however, I will mention again that cartflows and funnelkit are both not officially compatible with WPML, therefore if their team said it's not possible this might be the case.

I will review and let you know my findings.

The objective is to showcase the cartflows checkout translated or is it not even showing in the secondary language?

please help fast. sorry for the hurry but i need to go live actually we should go live yesterday but we already extend time. but we want to go live and wpml made a duplicated version. of the thank you page. and here there was the half of information on my page, because the cartflows order summary he did not show. so i thought i delete the copy and then it is just normal how it was before. but now when you buy something on dutch site after checkout it goes to error 404 because the page is deleted. and when you buy something of english webshop after checkout you go to thank you page. but i dont care that it is not translated anymore. i just want it to work because we need to go live now.

so conclusion:
dutch webshop redirects after checkout to error 404 and i just want it to redirect to thank you page and then not translated. because that is not possible.

I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to test the issue.
(preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible)

**Before we proceed It is necessary to take FULL BACKUP of your database and your website. Providing us with access, you agree that a backup has been taken **

I often use the Duplicator plugin for this purpose: http://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/
You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply.
The information you enter is private which means only you and I have access to it.

NOTE: If access to the live site is not possible and the staging site does not exist please provide me with a duplicator package created with the duplicator plugin.
