I was in touch about this before and I added the snippet to my functions.php code. However, I'm still encountering internal server errors when I attempt to create/edit/publish a translated post to local geo versions after using the code below in my .htaccess file and even impacted the Redirections settings in the Rankmath plug-in that I'm using in my site as well.
Can you look at the live version of my site and I will provide a translated post please? I've included debug info below.
I can also send live access so you can test and navigate if you provide me an email.
Thanks for contacting WPML support. Sorry, I'm not so sure what snippet you inserted into your functions.php file that caused the issue you had there. Is the code given by our support agents? Or is it from an errata or documentation?
Can you suggest another way to resolve the internal server error when I create/edit/publish from the local geos? We tried the errata, but it just impacted the Redirection settings from the Rankmath plug-in that I am using for my website.
Thank you for your response. Unfortunately, we don't have an alternative code for this situation, and it doesn't appear to be a recognized issue affecting the functionality of the RankMath plugin.
Additionally, could you direct me to where I can observe the redirection issue that arises when utilizing the code from the mentioned errata in conjunction with RankMath?
When I deactivated most of the plugins except WPML plugin and it worked fine. I'm able to publish this post without issues hidden link
So, it seems there is a 3rd party plugin preventing you from publishing a post.
Since I've already deactivated the plugins, could you reactivate each plugin one at a time here hidden link to see which one is causing the issue you had there?
Also, please update the WPML plugin to the latest version before testing it further.
Apologies, for the delayed update on this one. I tried the suggestion you mentioned. I deactivated all plug-ins except the WMPL SEO and WPML Multilingual CMS. And below are my testing results.
1. I created/edited/published/updated/republished a test page.
2. No internal server error while editing and publishing
3. Publishing pushed thru, but when the live/preview URL is accessed it goes to a page not found post.
Live URL: hidden link
Preview URL: hidden link
Did you encounter the same thing during your testing? Please advise. Thanks!
