Background of the issue:
I am trying to review running jobs on my WordPress site using the WPML plugin. I encountered an issue when accessing the page at hidden link. The debug log shows a PHP Fatal error: Uncaught DivisionByZeroError in D:www.albioneco.co.ukdev_htmlwp-contentpluginssitepress-multilingual-cmsclassesAPIRESTjobsclass-wpml-tm-rest-job-progress.php on line 41.
Symptoms:
I expected to see a list of running jobs, but instead, I got a red dialog saying 'Jobs could not be loaded'. The debug log shows a PHP Fatal error: Uncaught DivisionByZeroError.
Questions:
Why am I seeing the error 'Jobs could not be loaded'?
How can I resolve the DivisionByZeroError in the WPML plugin?
I will need to closely examine your website. Therefore, I will require temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to a test site where the problem has been replicated, if possible. This will enable me to provide better assistance and determine if any configurations need to be modified.
Please note that it is important to have a backup for security purposes and to prevent any potential data loss. You can use the UpdraftPlus plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/updraftplus/) to fulfill your backup requirements.
Your upcoming reply will be treated with confidentiality and will only be visible to you and me.
✙ To resolve the issue, I may need your consent to deactivate and reactivate plugins and the theme, as well as make configuration changes on the site if necessary. This emphasizes the significance of having a backup.
Thanks for your reply. I can see some server errors as shown in the attached screenshot. Could you share FTP access here so that I can check the error logs?
Hi, We use the File Manager plugin to look at the files, the debug log was included earlier in this thread - you appear to have turned off this plugin!
the Host does not allow us to FTPO to the site.
Thanks for your reply. I got this error from the debug log, and this may be related to the following ticket. Could you perform a full backup and try the solution explained in that ticket?
I am somewhat confused, you have left the site with 90% of the plugins not activated!
The ticket mentioned has multiple issues " disconnected license" and "Advanced Editor jobs synchronization had failed" The jobs page not loading seems to be a side issue on that ticket.
As you want me to use SQL I will have to negotiate with the host to allow this....
Thank you for your reply, and apologies for not detailing the steps I had taken earlier. I’ve deactivated all third-party plugins to rule out any conflicts with the WPML plugin that might be causing the job loading issue.
After reviewing your initial ticket message, I didn’t see a mention of multiple issues. That said, let’s first resolve the job loading issue, and then we’ll move on to address the “disconnected license” problem.
On the link you gave me the SQL solution is a series of commands, i only know of phpMyAdmin running on the server that will allow this, the hosting company don't want to let me use this due to his primary customer. Is there a way to enable a plugin to run the commands, so it stays wholly within WordPress? the server is an IIS one.
I created a full backup before you changed anything.
