This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
If you're experiencing an issue where a template is not applied to a product page translated with WPML using Elementor Pro, even though it works with other templates.
Solution:
We recommend the following steps to resolve this issue:
1. Edit the original product and make a minor change (e.g., add a space in the product title).
2. Click the update button to trigger an update for the translation. This change should turn the pencil icon into a circled arrow icon.
3. Edit the translation using the Advanced Translation Editor and complete it.
After these steps, the template from the original product should also apply to the translated product.

If this solution does not resolve your issue, or if it seems outdated or irrelevant to your case, please check related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verify the version of the permanent fix, and confirm that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. We highly recommend opening a new support ticket for further assistance at WPML support forum.

Hi,

Can you please confirm you follow our guide on how to work with Elementor?

https://wpml.org/documentation/plugins-compatibility/elementor/#translating-elementor-templates

Also, please let me know if you use WPML's Translation Editor to translate the templates and products.

Please also send me a link and screenshot where I can see this problem.

Thanks,
Itamar.

Hi,

Please check the following.

A. If the product needs to be updated. If so, then update it and see if the problem is solved.

B. If not solved, then please check if, by mistake, this product had been updated with the Elementor editor. This also could have caused this problem.

Regards,
Itamar.

Hi, and thanks for the access details.

Here is what I've done on the staging site to correct this problem.

1. I edited the original product and made a small change. (I just added a space in the title of the product.)

2. I clicked the update button. This triggered an update for the translation. The pencil icon changed to a circled arrow icon.

3. I edited the translation with the Advanced Translation Editor and completed it.

The template from the original product is now also applied to the translated product. Please see the attached screenshot.

Please do the same on your production site.

Regards,
Itamar.
