Background of the issue:
I am trying to display a custom Page Title Bar Layout Section on the Home page of my website, which has two languages: Czech as the main language and English as the second language. The issue can be seen on this page: hidden link

Symptoms:
The Page title bar is not displayed on the Home page in either the Czech or English version.

Questions:
Why is the custom Page Title Bar Layout Section not displaying on the Home page?
Is there a specific setting in WPML that might be affecting the display of the Page Title Bar?

Thanks for your reply. Your upcoming reply will be treated with confidentiality and will only be visible to you and me.

✙ To resolve the issue, I may need your consent to deactivate and reactivate plugins and the theme, as well as make configuration changes on the site if necessary. This emphasizes the significance of having a backup.

Please note that it is important to have a backup for security purposes and to prevent any potential data loss. You can use the UpdraftPlus plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/updraftplus/) to fulfill your backup requirements.

Thanks for your reply. I’ve deactivated WPML, and I don’t see the “title bar” on your homepage here hidden link that looks like the one on hidden link

Could you please display the “title bar” on the homepage? Once that’s done, I’ll reactivate WPML and translate the “title bar” into your other language.

I have made the "title bar" appear on the homepage - the one with the name "Homepage PTB – cs"

I saved it in the Layout Builder to the Front page layout - but it is not displayed on the website ...

Thanks for your reply. I’ve checked the site again at hidden link
and I can confirm that the “title bar” still isn’t showing. This appears to be related to the theme or page builder configuration rather than WPML. Could you please reach out to the theme or page builder support team to investigate this further?

If you run into any translation-related issues, feel free to contact me here again.

Hi Kor, with the support of Avada theme we solved the problem with displaying the Title bar. Now (with WPML deactivated) everything is fine.

The next step I will take will be to activate WPML and add a language switcher icon to the menu - for the EN version of the website.

How should I best set up WPML so that everything works as it should? I do the translations of the pages via WP editor (I copy the CS content to the EN version and edit the EN content to English).

Thanks for your help.

Thanks for your reply. It looks like you're using manual translation https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/using-different-translation-editors-for-different-pages/ and yes, it will work for your templates. But for the contents, I'd suggest using the translation dashboard for translation as explained here https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/

Would you recommend using a translation dashboard for the content, even if the content in different languages will not be completely identical?

For example, in the Czech version there are some extra things in the texts that are not in the EN version...

Thanks for your reply. If that's the case, you'll need to use the manual translation. https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/using-different-translation-editors-for-different-pages/
