Background of the issue:
We have an existing UK/US site for one of our clients. We have recently created a new US-based site based on the US content on this site. They would now like to keep the UK pages, remove the US language, and redirect all US pages to the new US site. They would specifically like to keep the US language hidden for a period of time to ensure all US content has been moved across correctly.

Symptoms:
WPML is automatically redirecting all /en-us/ pages to the UK homepage, which appears to be the default behavior when hiding a language. We need to redirect this content to the new site, but these redirects are being ignored by Rank Math SEO redirection.

Questions:
Is there any way to prevent WPML from automatically redirecting hidden languages?
Can we override the default redirection behavior of WPML to redirect to the new US site?
