I'm not able to see ''FR'' in the language switcher, but when we're in the french page (hidden link), we do see both languages.

Also, how can i translate the URL for this page : hidden link ? It's not updating when I change the slug in the advanced editor. I'm also trying to find how to translate the sections of the ''my-account'' like ''distributor-zone'' and the rest, and the main message ''From your account dashboard you can view your distributor zone, manage your wishlist, and edit your password and account details.''

It looks like the products may not be properly linked - when I switch to French, I can only see one product that allows switching between languages. I’ll be able to verify this more thoroughly once I have access.

Also, how can i translate the URL for this page : hidden link ? It's not updating when I change the slug in the advanced editor.

Changing the "my-account" page for the French language should be possible by editing the "Slug" value for that page in the given language.

To do this, I locate the page in the given language and open it for editing - in the right-hand menu, there is a "Slug" field that I can modify.

If this is not working as expected, I will need to request access to investigate the cause.

I'm also trying to find how to translate the sections of the ''my-account'' like ''distributor-zone'' and the rest, and the main message ''From your account dashboard you can view your distributor zone, manage your wishlist, and edit your password and account details.''

Regarding the translation of missing elements - to fully understand the issue, I will need access to the environment. For now, it appears that these strings may come from the theme and require scanning in order to be translated:
Go to - WPML / Theme and plugins localization

- Select the theme (some themes consist of multiple parts, such as parent and child themes - in that case, both should be scanned) and click "Scan"
- Once the scan is complete, go to WPML / String Translation - there you should be able to find and translate the relevant strings

I just finished translated the products, brochures and distributor resources now.

I'm facing a few issues.

First, in the product, the '' Product Table'' and the ''Long Description'' custom fields are not being translated at all.

My second issue is that I need to manually modify the PDFs in the brochures and the distributor ressources, but the link is not editable in the advanced editor, I'm not seeing any fields at all there. If I'm switching to the WordPress editor, I also can't edit the file because it's ''locked" by the ACF translation settings, which I already know are okay as this is always how we set them up for translations.

Ok I was able to set to ''translate'' that field instead of ''copy'' for the PDF so it's fine but i'm still having issues translating the rest of the product custom fields.

Hello,

After logging into your environment, I can confirm that the behavior differs from what is expected.

I have installed Duplicator and created a backup, which I will use to analyze the root cause of the issue.

As soon as I identify the cause of any of the reported problems, I will keep you updated.

When I open the product, I can see that the “download PDF button” is translated (Voir la fiche produit), but the PDF itself is still in English.

- go to: PDF Brochure / All PDF Brochure
- select: en
- search: comfyclean
- edit "ComfyClean"
- Right Menu: WordPress editor / edit fr
- the item editing form should open in French (in my case it was this link) `wp-admin/post.php?post=27528&action=edit&lang=fr`
- I deleted the currently visible English file and selected the French equivalent - on the French product page I received the PDF in French

Now I'm starting to debug the causes of problems with translating some links - at first glance it looks like some plugin is causing a compatibility problem (in a clean environment the link is translated) - so I'm looking for the cause inside the code.

Hey Pawel. Here are the replies to your questions in the same order, I've also added a few other things that we haven't been able to locate for translation:

1. Product archive: The english and french product pages are now both linked correctly through the language switcher. We haven't done anything specific to fix this though.

2. Product custom fields: The '' Product Table'' and the ''Long Description'' custom fields appear translated in your example, but the product tables are still not fully translated in all products. Look at this one for example, we're just seeing 1 table:

3. For the PDF, we figured it out, it's good now. I had to go in the Custom Fields translation - show system fields - and set it to translate after setting the translation mode to expert for that field group

4. Other things that are not being translation

- ''my-account'' slug in french should be ''mon-compte'' and the sub-section ''my-account/distributor-zone'' should be ''mon-compte/espace-distributeur''
- The text in the account page appears in english on the french page

Thank you very much for the detailed response — today I went through and diagnosed all the cases. Here’s a list of what I was able to determine:

1. Product archive

in that case I consider it resolved - for now

2. Product custom fields: The '' Product Table'' and the ''Long Description''

It seems there is a problem when there are many tables, I see that the data is sent correctly to ATE, but then it can no longer read it correctly (usually it only reads part of it) - I am still looking for a workaround for this problem

3. For the PDF, we figured it out, it's good now.

Super! I consider it resolved

4. Other things that are not being translation

Deactivating Permalink Manager Lite solved my linking problems – but I realize it might be necessary.

My question is: can it be deactivated, and does it have any necessary functionality? I could try to "overwrite changes" made by Permalink Manager Lite, but then we might find ourselves in a conflict situation - hence my question.

After deactivating `Permalink Manager Lite`, I went to this page in French, and on the top bar I clicked "edit" - which took me to the ATE screen where I could translate the link

Hi Pawel, yes, we need to have that plugin activated to do some custom permalinks.

The most urgent thing now is the tables not being translated, do you have an ETA ?

Hello,

I’m currently finishing work on a fix related to URLs and Permalink Manager. Since we cannot deactivate this plugin, I need to ensure that the current configuration is functioning correctly.

Hi Pawel, so we fixed the permalink plugin issues ourselves. One part was fixed by deactivated it for everything else than products (it was needed for the products permalink only), and the distributor zone was created in a php snippet that we edited.

As of now the only left issue, is the one with the missing translations of the tables.

Our developper found the solution to translating the tables. The issue was also related to a code snippet we had for this.
