Please Read my query and issue, Installing wpml has crashed the site and I am not able to access wp admin. So I am not sure how I am supposed to follow those steps
I'd appreciate it if you follow the other section that is mentioned in the documentation:
Please, make a full backup of your site before proceeding.
If you can’t access or it does not help:
Access to your database.
Open the wp_icl_translations table.
Search for the element_id which is throwing the error.
Delete the row.
You might need to repeat the workflow several times until the issue is fixed.

For the exam[ple that you mentioned for sure ti should be empty as you selected Phone Number.
Phone Number is a custom field of a post type called Agent. But you used the Field and text inside a page and it is natural that there will be no value.
But if you select for example, if you use the same thing inside a single custom post type edit screen of the Agent post type it will work.
Also in the pop up wizard when you want to select the phone number you can select the ID of the Agent in question and then the content will show.
For the second question answer. Yes, P tag is printed.
