Hello,

Thanks for contacting us.

While you wait for my colleague to take over the ticket, let me try to help you with the issue quickly.

I am not sure what do you mean by tiered, but I guess you are wondering about our Pay as You Go system.

At the end of the month, WPML charges you based on the number of credits you used during the course of the month. Your first 2,000 credits are free, and the price-per-credit goes down the more you translate over the month. If you don’t translate anything, you pay nothing.

Yes as translation volume grows, you will pay less credits per word.

Hello Dražen,

Thank you for the reply.

I understand how tiered pricing works within a single month, but my question specifically concerns the cumulative usage across multiple months.

We've already translated a substantial amount—over 21,000,000 credits used to date. My expectation, logically, is that future translations would continue to benefit from tiered pricing based on our total cumulative credit usage, rather than the counter resetting each month. Resetting the credit count monthly would seem unfair and illogical given our substantial translation history.

Could you please confirm if pricing tiers are calculated based on our cumulative translation usage across all months, or if the tiers reset every month?

Thank you for clarifying this important point and also inform Mercedes for that.

Kind regards
Yves
