Background of the issue:
I am trying to display images for all languages on my website. The issue can be seen on this page: hidden link. The path for images is set to hidden link.

Symptoms:
Images are broken only in the French language version of the site. The image link points to /uploads/ only for /fr/, while all other languages display images correctly. Example of broken image pages: hidden link and hidden link.

Questions:
Why are images broken only in the French language version?
How can I fix the image path issue for the French language?

Hello,

I am currently not seeing an issue with your examples.

Example:
hidden link

I see the same images here:
hidden link

Could you please provide more details and maybe add screenshots?

Take note that WPML will always use the original media file and display it on all languages. To make this work you need to make sure that on the original content, inside the right sidebar of the WordPress Editor, both checkboxes to duplicate the featured image and media attachments are marked before translating the content.

You can further sync the media of your media library into all languages by going to WPML > Settings > Media Translation and clicking "Start".

Best regards
Andreas
