Background of the issue:
I'm trying to translate posts on a Swedish site as duplicates to English and Finnish using WPML. The site uses custom posts with Elementor layout and ACF fields. The original language is Swedish, and I want to duplicate it in English and Finnish. On the finnish duplicates no text appears, but does on the english.

Symptoms:
The Finnish text does not appear, but the English duplicates work fine. The issue is specifically with the Finnish translation not showing up at hidden link.

Questions:
Why does the Finnish text not appear when duplicating posts?
How can I ensure Finnish translations appear correctly using WPML?

Hey there,

It seems that the posts, from where the Loop Grid text comes from, were out of sync with the original. To solve it, please make a full website backup and follow the steps below:

1. Go to ACF > Field Groups > Valet 2025 and make sure that the translation option is set to "Same fields across languages";
2. Go to WPML > Translation Management and filter by Posts;
3. Select all posts, and select to Duplicate to both secondary languages;
4. Run the duplication;
5. Make a small change to the hidden link page. You can add a blank space into a text, for example;
6. Update the translations

That should solve it 🙂 Let me know how it goes and if you have any questions.

Hey, it seems to be working yes. A question arises though, will I have to do this with all the post? And not "duplicate" straight from the post directly?
