Background of the issue:
I am trying to understand the expected behavior of the language tool on live pages of my site, hidden link. In the draft environment, switching the language to German and navigating to another page causes it to revert back to English.
Symptoms:
Switching the language in the draft environment does not persist across pages and alters page formatting on some pages.
Questions:
Should the selected language persist across pages when using the language tool?
Is the alteration of page formatting when switching languages a known issue or a potential bug?
When I am previewing the page on word press before it goes live this is the behaviour I am seeing. Is this expected when I publish all the content to live?
As far as I understand, this might be the expected behavior; however, sharing a link to a video that shows the steps to reproduce the issue might help us gain a better understanding.
So, I understand you are saying that the expected behaviour when changing from English to German is that when I change a page to German, it will automatically revert to English, and I have to keep changing it to German every time I navigate to a new page?
Not exactly, I understand that when you have a page in draft you get redirected to the default language when clicking on any link. However, I kindly ask you to share a link to a video (you can use Loom or Komodo) reproducing the problem. This will help me to watch and understand the problem better.
