Background of the issue:
I am trying to enable WPML translations, but once WPML is activated, the homepage disappears. It works just fine with other pages. I have already received help from your support, but they closed the ticket. The issue can be seen at hidden link.

Symptoms:
The homepage disappears after activating WPML, while other pages work fine.

Questions:
Why does the homepage disappear after activating WPML?
How can I resolve the issue of the homepage not displaying?

1.- Please share the site debug information as described in this guide: https://wpml.org/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support/

2.- You mentioned you already created a test homepage site. Could you please set this test page as the homepage again and share the URL so I can confirm the problem persists?

Note: Make sure the actual homepage is translated and published in all secondary languages.

Hi there,
Thank you for sharing the debug information

Before asking for credentials to access the site, I kindly ask you to follow these steps:
- Create a full site backup
- Go to Plugins -> Add new -> Commercial tab -> Click on the button to look for updates and update the WPML plugins to the latest version
- Contact your hosting providers and ask them to upgrade the PHP version to v8.1 or v8.2
- Flush any cache memory that might exist
- Re-save the permalinks
- Double-check if the issue disappeared

Can you tell me the results of the steps described above?

1.- Please share the access credentials to the site in your next message, which I have set private. That way, we will be able to reproduce the issue and double-check the configuration.

Confirm you have created a full site backup that you can restore if necessary.

You can use any test email to create the credentials. Please don't forget to add the administrator role to the user.

The homepage is the one called "Accueil". You can currently see it correctly because WPML is not activated : hidden link
As soon as you activate it, it disappears.

The other main pages are :

I ran several troubleshooting steps, but the issue persists. I would like to ask your authorization to create a full site backup to send it to our 2nd-tier specialists so they can take a deeper look at this behavior.

Oh, but the footer disappeared. Is the footer the element causing the trouble ? If so, we can find other solutions.

Hi,

The front page appeared because I left String Translation disabled. I have activated it now, and you can see the issue is back.

I will need to create a copy of the site to escalate this ticket to our 2nd tier of support. Do you authorize me to create the copy?
