deniseC-4	The ATE translates the characters (« ») and („ “) to " " as string operators which are then finally displayed as %22, e.g. at hidden link. How can I avoid this in general? Thanks a lot!

Unfortunately I got stuck debugging the issue because several times the database lost its connection with the website. Moreover, may I kindly ask you to point us to the exact step-by-step in order to reproduce the issue? I mean, not just to see the issue, but to replicate it from scratch. We have created a test page having a Divi text module, and so far we couldn't replicate the problem by using ATE: hidden link. Does it happen only when the translation is automatic? Furthermore, we want to ask you to upload the Divi theme in a Sandbox (I'll provide you with an automatic login link for this), so that we can reproduce the problem in a clean environment - if you want to do it yourself there, please go ahead, otherwise just let us know the exact steps for this, since the beginning. I have enabled the automatic translation in the Sandbox, you can test it now. I tried myself using an old Divi version, but we're unable to reproduce the issue properly in this version, it seems: hidden link You'll check that the texts are not translated and an 'en' tag is added before the phrases. Therefore, may I kindly ask you to upload the updated theme in the Sandbox, so that we can try to replicate the problem again? Please let us know. Thank you.

deniseC-4	i updated the divi on the sandbox but i dont think this i related to the divi version... here in the video you can see the problem/behavor hidden link the difference to my site is that the "wrong" translated characters wont end up in "%22" but also are wrong translated...

Upon further inspection, we have concluded that actually, this is what we receive from the Translation Engines. They have this behavior for responses, so if we consider this as a bug, then this is a bug in Google and DeepL. So, unfortunately, we cannot fix it in our end. Having said that, what we can suggest as a workaround is to manually translate the content containing these types of quotations. Please give it a try and let us know if everything works fine.
