Background of the issue:
I have asked a question in ticket: 16974755 regarding issues with WPML. I am trying to resolve an issue using the documentation at https://wpml.org/documentation/support/language-configuration-files/translate-custom-shortcodes-with-wpml/.

Symptoms:
The ticket was closed with just a reference to a support article, and following the article did not fix my issue. I cannot send an email from the notification for an update and have to log into the support portal. I cannot reopen my old ticket.

Questions:
Why was my ticket closed with just a reference to a support article?
How can I send an email from the notification for an update?
How can I reopen my old ticket?
Why did following the support article not fix my issue?

Hi,

Just a quick note that tickets are automatically closed if there are no replies from the client after approximately 10 days.

Regarding the issue you mentioned — so you've already tried following this guide: https://wpml.org/documentation/support/language-configuration-files/translate-custom-shortcodes-with-wpml/

Could you please share the code you implemented based on those instructions?

Also, to clarify:

* Does the content appear in the WPML translation editor at all?
* If not, does it appear after creating a new page or resaving the existing one?

Looking forward to your response.
