This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
If you're using Divi and notice that editing your default English page overrides your other language versions (Dutch and French), this issue arises because the translations are set to use the WPML Translation Editor.
Solution:
We recommend switching to the "WordPress Editor" option to edit translations directly in Divi, which provides more flexibility. This change disables the WPML Editor and allows you to manage translations more freely. However, please be aware that switching to this option might require you to recreate your translations from scratch. You can apply this setting to individual pages, post types, or the entire website. It's crucial to take a full backup of your website and test this change before applying it broadly. For detailed steps on how to switch editors, please visit: Using Different Translation Editors for Different Pages.
If this solution does not apply to your case, or if it seems outdated, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins.
