This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
You are using WPML for automatic translation on your website and have translated everything, but you noticed an issue with the structure of courses in Learndash not replicating in the translated language. For example, in French, the course structure includes chapters and steps, but in English, nothing appeared, and you have to rebuild the entire formations.
Solution:
After translating the courses, you need to connect the translations to replicate the structure in different languages. In WPML -> Translation Management, send for translation and then translate the course, lessons, topics, etc. To have the same structure as in the default language, repeat the process of connecting the translated components in the translated course. For more detailed instructions, please refer to our documentation on creating multilingual online courses with Learndash and WPML: How to create multilingual online courses websites using Learndash and WPML and specifically the section on connecting translations: Connect Translations.

If this solution does not apply to your case because it might be outdated or not relevant, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Background of the issue:
I use WPML for automatic translation on my website hidden link. I have translated everything, but I noticed an issue with the structure of courses in Learndash.

Symptoms:
In Learndash, the structure of courses did not replicate in the translated language. For example, in French, the course structure includes chapters and steps, but in English, nothing appeared, and I have to rebuild the entire formations.

Questions:
How to replicate the entire course structure in different languages using WPML and Learndash?

Hi,

Welcome to WPML support. I will answer this ticket before it is assigned to one of my colleagues.

After you do the translation you need one more step which is connecting the translation.

Please read the documentation below for more information:

Thanks.

Hi,

many thanks for your answer... so you are telling me there is now way to copy paste the structure in different language, right? I have to do it manually for each language?

that is really time consuming. It would really help if there is a way to replicate automatically the strucutre in each language.

Regards,

Vincent

Hi, Vincent.

I'll continue to help you with this issue.

In WPML -> Translation Management, you can send for translation and then translate the course, lessons, topics, etc. To have the same structure as in the default language, you need to repeat the process of connecting the translated components in the translated course. This is the part that is explained here:

https://wpml.org/documentation/plugins-compatibility/how-to-create-multilingual-online-courses-websites-using-learndash-and-wpml/#connect-translations

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Regards,
Itamar.
