Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate a blog entry on my site hidden link using WPML. The original blog entry is hidden link and the translated version is hidden link. I have upgraded and downgraded Elementor and Elementor Pro, and added a third invisible language (Italian).

Symptoms:
Although WPML indicates that the translation is 100% finalized, the status does not change, and I cannot access the final frontend review to make changes and update the PDF link.

Questions:
Why does the translation status not change even though WPML shows it as 100% finalized?
How can I access the final frontend review to make changes and update the PDF link?

Hi,

It seems that the minimum requirements are not met on the server:
https://wpml.org/en/home/minimum-requirements/

Could you please increase the WordPress memory limit (WP Memory Limit) to at least 256 MB? WPML requires at least 128M.

Your current values are:

PHP MemoryLimit 256M

WP Memory Limit 40M

You need to connect to your website's server and open the wp-config.php file in a text editor. The file is located in the WordPress root directory.

Add this code to the wp-config.php file to increase WordPress memory:

define ('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M');

Add this just before this comment:

// That's all, stop editing! Happy blogging.

The current values can be viewed under WPML > Support > WordPress.

These settings can be restricted directly by your hosting provider. Therefore, I recommend contacting them and asking them to change them directly if the changes are not applied immediately.

Once the limit has been adjusted, please try to complete the translation again. If this will not solve the issue, please let us know.

Best regards
Andreas

Hi Andreas!

Thanks you for your reply and your work especially during the holidays.

Well, already before I subitted the ticket yesterday the WP installation has been taken to 128M - which was the suggestion of WP
My problem persisted.

Now I am on 256M for both values and the problem still persisits.

Please have a look at the screenshot attached:
1 - Translations (the translator hits [Übersetzen] to get to the next page
2 - The ATE is used to translate 100% and the translator hits [Abschließen]
3- Translations still show [Übersetzen]
4 - Translations Management tells me with the gear-symbol [Englsh: Waiting for translator]

As stated in the initial ticket the following things happened:
Translations for English did work fine (even with 40M Memory Limit) - please check - my site is translated to English (I am a big fan of WPML).

I had to do downgrade Elementor and Elementor Pro after the Elementor upgrade did not work for my Installation.

I did add Italian as a 3rd Llanguage for translation. (Only adding this FYI, as I think it should not have to do anyting with WPML, as it is a standard procedure.)

Thank you and season's greetings
Florian

Hi Andreas!

On the Troubleshooting Page I did hit
[Synchronize local job ids with ATE jobs] AND
[Synchronize translators and translation managers with ATE]

This did solve my problem.

Best regards
Florian
