cant translate everything

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client was unable to translate a button labeled 'GRATIS ADVIES', USPs in a white bar, and footer links to PDFs in different languages using WPML. Additionally, the client needed help with translating menu items and ensuring the correct links appeared in translated versions of the site.

Solution:
1. To address the translation of the button and USPs, we recommended following the guide on finding and translating strings that don't appear on the string translation page: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/string-translation/finding-strings-that-dont-appear-on-the-string-translation-page/

2. For translating the footer links to different language PDFs and ensuring correct links in the footer, the client was advised to translate the header and footer templates directly in the WordPress admin area. Specific links to these templates were provided for direct access.

3. To manage and translate menu items in different languages, the client was directed to use the Appearance -> Menus section of WordPress and select the appropriate language for translation. upclick-b.v.N	Background of the issue: I am trying to translate a button and some unique selling points (USPs) on my site hidden link using WPML. I have tried all the suggestions provided in the documentation but I am unable to find the proper code to locate these parts. it is about the yellow button with GRATIS ADVIES and the 4 usp's in the white bar. Symptoms: I can't translate everything, specifically a button and some USPs. Questions: How can I translate a button and USPs on my site using WPML? Where can I find the proper code to locate these parts for translation?

upclick-b.v.N	Hi, i did the update it did not work. then i search in the string translation as the guide says, it can not find anything. can you please take a look for me if i share login? also one other thing i am struggling with: footer has successfully translated, however i need to link to my english terms and conditions when user is viewing language other than Dutch. can you help me change the link on the other languages?

To solve the three problems, you need to translate the header and the footer templates in these links: - Header: hidden link - Footer: hidden link Once both templates are fully translated, the issue must disappear.

upclick-b.v.N	Hello, some issues i have managed to fix with your advice, thank you. what i could not fix, is change the link to another pdf file for the english footer terms and conditions. it does not show a link in the footer translations. maybe because i link to a pdf file instead of a web page? as you can see on the attached screenshot, i can only edit the text but not the link of this. how can it be solved?

upclick-b.v.N	And another question, why when i check footer french translation i do not see any links to change here at all? i ask because i need to manually make adjustments. Because i have # anchor links on my homepage, which it seems it does not automatically add /en/ /fr/ and so on. so for example cinewallcenter.nl/#prijzen is a link in my dutch footer. but in the english footer it did not automatically create this to be cinewallcenter.nl/en/#prijzen. I did this manually now. however, for french, i do not see any link to change this? screenshot again attached. thank you very much for helping out with this setup.

Carlos Rojas WPML Supporter since 03/2017 Languages: English (English ) Spanish (Español ) Timezone: Europe/Madrid (GMT+01:00)	Hi, I'm happy to hear that the original issue was solved 1.- Regarding the URLs in the footer, you can find them in ATE while translating the footer, but you need to search for them -see attached images- 2.- To edit the menus on the secondary languages, you must go to Appearance -> Menus -> Select the menu -> Click on the translation icons. For example, this is where you can edit the English translation of the main menu: hidden link

upclick-b.v.N	sorry i do not understand. what am i supposed to do? to clarify, i see only English menu here, but on the live website i see menu in every language. can you tell me (or link me to) for example where i can change the anchor texts for the Turkish, French and German and Spanish menu? I don't know where i can find it, could you please send the links? Thanks for helping out, sorry.
