Background of the issue:
I am trying to open a page with the Advanced Translator Editor to check on the translation. Even if the text is already translated and the translation memory is up to date, credits get deducted.

Symptoms:
I consistently get deduction in the translation credits when I open a page with ATE, even though I don't expect a page to be automatically translated.

Questions:
Why are credits being deducted when opening a page with ATE? (see report: no translations credits should have been used in December 2024.
How can I prevent automatic translation when using ATE?

Thank you for contacting WPML support.

After reviewing your WPML settings, I noticed that the translation mode is set to "Translate What You Choose." This means that no automatic translations will occur until you either send content for translation or use it the Advanced Translation Editor.

Could you please show me where you see the credits being deducted each time you use the Advanced Translation Editor?
