[Closed] footer is not being translated

Hi wpml,

Please how to translate with ate the footer?
Even I translated the string (snap wpml attached) is not redirecting to any link when the translation has been done.

page affected: hidden link
link: politica suo cookie (have no link, but yes in english, the default languaje).

The page cookie policy is already created in italian: hidden link
But wpml is not doing the redirection link.

Hello,

If possible, please share with us how you are creatinng this footer -- are you creating it using widgets?

Go to Appearance->Widgets and try to translate the widgets manually by creating a widget in each language as shown in the following documentation:

https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/translating-widgets/#using-different-widgets-for-different-languages

Does that work? Let us know your results.

Hello Bobby,
I created the links in footer by widget (widget.JPG attached)
I translated the string of Bulgaria (test_.JPG attached)

As you can see in Bulgaria languaje, at the bottom of all: hidden link
is showing the "Who are we" but linking to the English languaje.

Please any help?

Thank you for updating us!

Please try the steps from the documentation linked above to create a different widget per language, this should help.

You would go to Appearance-> Widgets -> Duplicate the footer widget and change the context for the translation language then select the display language for the translation.
