[Resolved] I use Directories pro plugin and in the Directory the open/close badge is only available in the main...
This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: The client is using the Directories Pro plugin and is facing an issue where the open/close badge is only visible in the main language (Swedish) on their site, but not in Norwegian and English. Solution: We asked the client to explain how the open/close badge is set up in the main language and to provide screenshots to better understand the configuration. This information is crucial for us to diagnose the issue and provide a specific solution. However, the client later updated that with the latest update of the Directories Pro plugin, the issue was resolved, and the open/close badge started appearing correctly in all languages.
If you're experiencing a similar issue, we recommend checking if you have the latest updates for your plugins and themes. Sometimes, updates can resolve translation-related issues. If the problem persists, please visit our support forum for further assistance. We also highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins.
This is the technical support forum for WPML - the multilingual WordPress plugin.
Everyone can read, but only WPML clients can post here. WPML team is replying on the forum 6 days per week, 22 hours per day.
Background of the issue:
I use the Directories Pro plugin on my site hidden link. I am trying to get the open/close badge to show in the single listing for all languages.
Symptoms:
The open/close badge is only showing in the main language, Swedish, but not in Norwegian and English.
Questions:
How can I make the open/close badge appear on single listing in all languages using WPML? It only shows on the Swedish main language.
I tried to see how it looks in Custom Term Meta Translation and it's mark to translate and even tried copy/copy once but didn't help.
It shows up in the Directory see attached screen print.
I checked the settings on your site. I think it is related to the opening hours for each listing. Please see the attached screenshot. I switched a few settings to copy, but so far it hasn't worked. I will need to test things on a sandbox site. I'll investigate this and get back to you.
I think that the opening hours feature is added with the add-on Directorist - Business Hour. Can you please confirm this?
I want to mention that the Directorist - Business Hour add-on is not officially compatible with WPML.
I've tried to replicate this problem with a copy of the old sandbox site I have from the other ticket. But unfortunately things broke on that site.
We can try to help further. The best thing would be to replicate this issue on a fresh WordPress installation. Then, if needed, I'll be able to escalate it to our compatibility team. For this, I created a test website with a clean WordPress install. You can access it through this link:

With this link, you'll be directly logged in.
Could you please install the Directorist Business Directory Plugin and the Directorist - Business Hour add-on and see if the issue is replicable on a clean WordPress installation?
I've configured WPML to have English as the default language and Swedish as the second language. Please also make sure you install the latest version of the plugin.
When everything is finished and you can replicate the problem, please let us know. Important! Do not import your site to the test site. We must replicate the problem on a fresh, clean WordPress installation.
Before that, I noticed that the Directorist - Business Directory Plugin has a new version. Please update it and check if it solves the problem.
Hi again,
Thank you for hte answer and sorry I didn't see your answer because I set the ticket to send me email when answered but didn't receive any email so thouhgt you still worked on it.
I have setup in you installation what you asked me to do.
I see here also under the Directory Business that Business Hours is no available under Single Page Layout/Listing Header which is was in the old times. I think on travelcyclades.com it show in some listing because it was done when it still showed up and only did the Swedish then, but maybe it's because something else so please have a look
I re-checked this issue on your site, and as far as I understand, the open/close badge is displayed if you set it in Directory Listing -> Directory Builder -> All Listing Layout. Please see the attached screenshot sv-all-listing.jpg. I can see that on your site, it is set like this for English as well. Please see the attached screenshot en-all-listing.jpg. And on the all listing page in Swedish, I can see that not all open/close badges are displayed. Please see the attached screenshot sv-open-close.jpg. The same goes for English. Please see the attached screenshot en-open-close.jpg. So the point I want to stress is that it does not seem like a WPML issue. In other words, if also in Swedish, not all the open/close badges display, so the problem is elsewhere. Maybe it is a matter of setting the opening and closing hours correctly. But I don't see how it is a WPML issue. Please let me know what you think.
Hi,
I think you have missunderstand, it's for the singel listing and only show in the main language Swedish, see attached image.
But maybe as you say not a wpml issue, I will take it with Directory
After that, please try to replicate the issue. If the issue is reproducible, please let me know the steps to reproduce it, so I can check it and consult our compatibility team.
Hi,
I have now done this several times for your suppor and it's a big job to replicate this issue and can't spend hours every time to create the same, sorry but a bit to much and maybe better to wait for Itamar to be back who know a bit about the Directorist.
I can see that on the translated listing you provided as an example, the open/close badge isn't showing: hidden link.
Please explain to me how you make the open/close badge display on a single listing in Swedish, your site's default language, and I'll try to see if I can figure out why it is not showing in the translations. Please provide clear, concise explanations and include screenshots.
Good morning,
Sorry that I didn't answer but never got an email that you answered. Anyway with Directories latest update the open/close badge is working.
